The Rural Hill Sheepdog Trials and Dog Festival run this Saturday and Sunday Nov.13-14.  In addition to dog sports demonstrations, the event features North Carolina beer and wine, heritage livestock, hay rides, historic craft and cooking demos, food vendors, shopping, open trails and living history demonstrations in the 1760s cabin.
