Rotary trees net $12,000 for charities

The Davidson Rotary Club has given more than $12,000 to 36 charities that participated in the Christmas Tree Village during Christmas in Davidson. Beds for Kids received an additional $75), based on voting. Second place, $500 additional, went to Tribute To The Troops, and third place, Davidson Lands Conservancy, received an additional $250. Every tree received one dollar for every vote cast for their tree as well as an additional $100 from Davidson Rotary. The club is also replenishing the food bank at The Ada Jenkins Center until the end of January.
