MERITHEW

Robert “Mr. Bob” Francis Merithew, 90 of Davidson, died January 29 at his home. He was born in Painted Post., NY to the late Robert and Mary Merithew. He served in the US Army during WWII and worked in residential construction.

Survivors include his lady, Penny Godfrey; sons, Kris Merithew and wife Melinda of Hendersonville, Bob Merithew and wife Nora of Charlotte, Forrest Merithew of Asheville; daughter, Marie Stolp of Charlotte; daughter-in-law, Anna Witter-Merithew; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; step-children, Amber, Cory and Rachel Withers. He is preceded in death by his son Michael Witter-Merithew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the Wounded Warrior Project, via www.woundedwarriorproject.org.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Southside Baptist Church, Mooresville. The family will receive friends following the service.
