River Run roads to be re-surfaced

This year is the last of a five-year paving plan in Davidson  that identified streets in need of resurfacing. Each year was broken down by geographic area for cost- effectiveness.

The River Run neighborhood project was bid out on June 23and Blythe Construction was the low bidder at $857,627.14.  Because the bids came in under the projected budget, the town asked Blythe to add additional street segments that adds $245,000 for a total of $1,102,000.

The Davidson Town Board approved the 2020 Resurfacing Contract and requested staff work on a strategy for future patchwork repairs in between paving years.
