Oct. 28. By Dave Vieser. State lawmaker Beth Helfrich (D) will hold a Town Hall focusing on public safety and transportation this Thursday, Oct. 30, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Ada Jenkins Center in Davidson.
Helfrich, whose district includes most of Cornelius and portions of Davidson and Huntersville, will host the event. She will be accompanied by the police chiefs from all three towns, a member of the Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners and a representative of the state Department of Transportation.
“This will be an opportunity for local leaders to discuss initiatives and projects going on in the district and for constituents to bring their concerns, questions and ideas,” said Helfrich. “It’s a great chance for residents to hear directly from experts about what’s happening in our district.”
