Registration for winter session open at Cain Center

The winter session of classes at the Cain Center for the Arts start Jan. 9. Registration is open now.

Dec. 28. Cain Center for the Arts winter session classes begin Jan. 9 and registration is under way.

For teens ages 14-17 who want to be the next red-carpet star or want to get better at public speaking or are looking to refine  skills for the school play, the Acting for Teens class is a match.

Participants will refine your craft as instructor Becky Timms Carlin gives provides building blocks you need to take your acting to center stage.

Class members will learn the ins and outs acting with improvisation and theater games, lessons on how to read a script and character analysis.

Students will work on scenes from famous plays as well as television and film scripts.
