Register for Davidson’s Community Conversations About Mental Health

April 23. The Town of Davidson’s Mental Health Committee is hosting “Let’s Talk: Community Conversations About Mental Health” in three-sessions, and community residents are invited to participate.

The committee was created in October 2020 and is composed of community members, town employees and community members. The committee’s goal, as it works closely with Davidson LifeLife, is to plan and implement ways to enhance the mental well-being of those living and working within the town.

These Community Conversations are designed to foster general discussion about stigma and mental well-being as well as provide guidance for future programming to increase resilience, increase mental health awareness, and prevent suicide.

This first group of three sessions will include 15 individuals from Davidson (ages 18 and older) and be held on May 13, 20, and 27 from 6-7:30 pm. To sign up to participate,  click here. Based on the latest local or state COVID-19 guidelines and the weather, a determination will be made if it is safe to gather in-person outdoors.
