May 6. The Davidson Fire Department will host a dedication and “Push-In” ceremony for new Tower 1 on Saturday, May 7 from 11 am – noon  at Fire Station 1.

The public is invited.

Tower 1 is the new fire department aerial apparatus that has replaced former Ladder 1. The department invites community members to participate in a “wash down” of the apparatus before it is officially “pushed into” the apparatus bay. This long-standing tradition within the fire service celebrates the arrival of a new apparatus.

The fire department will also grill hotdogs during the event while supplies last.
