Pioneer Springs Community School gets GO Grant

Nov. 1. Pioneer Springs Community School and teacher Sandra Dixon received a Go Outside “GO Grant” of $3,500 for a project to provide outdoor garden experiences to students and explore hands-on learning environments.

GO Grants are funded by The Outdoor Heritage Advisory Council and Trust Fund and are awarded to applicants across the state to encourage taking students outdoors.

Abigail Jennings, president of Lake Norman Realty, co-founded Pioneer Springs in 2012. Pioneer Springs Community School, 9232 Bob Beatty Road, ​Charlotte 28269, is a public K-12  school serving more than 500 students.
