Pauline Short Mills, 78 of Charlotte died July 16, 2015. She was born on January 3, 1927 in Kings Mountain to the late Herbert and Minnie Short. She worked for the Northside Baptist Church Day Care.

She is preceded in death by husbands Hollis Davis and Robert Mills; son, Joe Davis; daughters, Patricia Gail Abernethy and Betty Norman.

She is survived by her brothers, Joe, Dick and Bobby (wife Diane) Short; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10 AM Saturday, July 18 at Sunset Memory Gardens in Charlotte.
