Oct. 10. If it seems like summer ended less than a month ago (it did), you better watch out, appointments with Santa in Birkdale Village can be made, starting today. Santa will be near the fountains in Birkdale Village Friday through Sunday beginning Nov. 20, with eight electronic images included.

The price: $45

Santa will be available on select Thursdays Dec. 1, 8 and 22.

To guarantee a visit, book an appointment. Walk-ups will be accepted only if time allows.

Pro tip: Santa takes a break to feed his reindeer 2-3 pm.
