Niagara plans new $15 million investment, generating 16 new jobs

Feb. 27. Niagara Bottling, LLC a family owned and operated company, will bring 16 new jobs and invest $5 million dollars into their Mooresville plant. Niagara operates 15 bottling facilities around the U.S.

With the installation of the new line, the Mooresville location will have a total of five bottle-filling lines. The 126 people at the plant in Mooresville Business Park earn an average of $43,000 per year.

Iredell County and the Town of Mooresville have committed to providing a performance-based grant to facilitate this expansion. Once the company has certified that an investment of $5 million has been made and the creation of 16 new jobs, rebates of up to 80 percent of new tax revenue may be granted for up to five years.
