New installation strikes the right note at Cain Center

May 21. A new interactive musical playground outside the Cain Center for the Arts features products from Miracle Recreation, a pioneer in manufacturing playgrounds for nearly a century. The Concerto musical elements include Tall Chimes, Small Cabasa, Large Cabasa and Concerto Vibes.

The installation is the result of a collaborative effort that included Cornelius-based Make An Impact Foundation, Quest, North Mecklenburg Rotary Club, Peninsula Club Foundation, Cain Center for the Arts, Town of Cornelius Parks and Recreation, and Miracle Recreation. The Rotary Club contributed nearly half of the total project cost.
