Rio 150 Mexican Restaurant will open in the La Victoria Cocina Mexicana & Bar space near Exit 25 in Huntersville. La Victoria closed its doors this week; the site previously housed an IHOP.
Rio 150 is a local, family-owned restaurant with ties to Tijuana. It promotes what it calls the largest margaritas in North Carolina and offers a menu of traditional Mexican dishes with large portions. Entrees range from $15 to $20, while lunch combinations are priced under $10.
The original location opened on N.C. 150 in Mooresville in 2015. The Huntersville site will be the brand’s fifth in the Charlotte area.
Ilios Crafted Greek opening in Davidson
Ilios Crafted Greek will open in Sadler Square Shopping Center on Griffith Street near downtown Davidson.

The fast-casual restaurant features a streamlined menu focused on plates, sandwiches and salads built around Greek-style proteins, including pork, chicken and falafel, as well as spit-roasted lamb.
Most entrees are priced in the mid-teens. The menu also includes items such as grape leaves and baklava.
A $43.95 family meal includes a choice of rotisserie chicken, lamb, pork souvla, chicken souvla or falafel, along with two large sides, a Greek or Ilios salad, pita and a sauce.
The Davidson location will be the chain’s fifth and its first in North Mecklenburg.
