New Cain Center art exhibits: HomeGrown opens today

Jan. 22. The Cain Center for the Arts has two new art exhibits opening today in the Oak Street Mill—HomeGrown and HomeGrown, Jr.

Home Grown is an annual mixed-media exhibit celebrating the local artistic community, while HomeGrown, Jr.—new this year—showcases work from artists aged 10 to 16.

There is also a special exhibit showcasing local artists near and dear to the heart of the Cain Center. The “Director’s Choice Exhibit” celebrates Cain Center’s Community Impact Programs,  with half the proceeds made from the exhibit supporting the continuation and expansion of these initiatives. The other half will go to the exhibiting artists in support of the local visual arts community. Private viewings may be available upon request.
