National Night Out Parade of Lights route

Oct. 6. The Cornelius Police Department’s National  Night Out Parade of Lights will be two parades, and both are set to begin around 5:30 pm.

There will be one on the east side of I-77 and one on the west side of I-77.

Residents can join the parade safely by stepping outside to wave and cheer.

The parade for the east side of town will begin in the Antiquity area first. We will work our way around the east side of town by driving counterclockwise around the east side and will end at Poole Place. This parade will then drive over and pick up Forest Shadow after Poole Place.

The parade for the west side of town will begin at Harrogate at the Lake off of Torrence Chapel Road. We will work our way around the west side of town by driving counterclockwise around the west side and will end in Magnolia Estates.

These images show the roads the police will be taking.  If the parade is not coming to your area, you can travel to the closest location indicated on the route.
