A long-running Cornelius tradition—the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Barbecue—is Saturday Nov. 7. A country style dining room aka the Family Life Center is the setting. There’s also a take-out line. Selections include: $9 BBQ Plate or three sandwiches; $10 per pound of BBQ; $2 per pound for slaw; and $5 Kid’s Meal. There will be a “Hee Haw Spectacular” from 11:30 am to 1 pm. All proceeds go to support church mission work
