Nov. 2. Morelia Gourmet Paletas, which opened recently in a kiosk at Birkdale Village, will offer free ice cream pops on Saturday, Nov. 5.

As part of the grand opening celebration, Morelia will give away more than 900 paletas between noon and 6 pm at the 16940 Birkdale Commons Pkwy, Suite A, Huntersville, location.

The paletas are made with natural and fresh ingredients combined with a creamy Italian gelato base. The popsicle flavors include fruit and cream-based classics. All 16 paleta flavors can be dressed with endless possible combinations of dippings and toppings.

There will be a charge for the dippings and toppings during the give-away.
