May 5. Two medical facilities — Charlotte Radiology and Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates — have opened offices for patients.

Charlotte Radiology re-opened its breast imaging centers starting May 4, with the goal of having all services and locations open in June. Check locations and appointment availability online. Steele Creek, Prosperity and Matthews locations are operating; additional screening sites will re-open in a phased manner as patients re-schedule annual screening appointments.  Patients will be screened for novel coronavirus symptoms at check-in and will wear face masks. Other measures,  such as waiting in cars instead of in waiting rooms, will be in place.

Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates (CEENTA) will have similar practices in place for seeing non-urgent patients in its offices. CEENTA will continue to offer online virtual visits for most non-urgent ENT conditions and select eye conditions.
