Oct. 8. Cornelius Mayor Woody Washam says he is doing OK having come down with the coronavirus a day after the socially distanced Town Board meeting on Monday.
“Symptoms still mild,” he said in a text message this morning. His wife Sharon Washam has tested negative.
The mayor led a Housing Study Committee meeting on Zoom this morning (Photo above).
The mayor turned 70 in August but exercises on a regular basis and follows a regimen that includes zinc, Vitamin C and Vitamin D.
His symptoms have been mild and he has been able to participate in Zoom meetings.
“Business as usual,” the second-term mayor said in a text message yesterday.
