April 25. There are still a handful of tickets for the Lake Norman Chamber’s signature event for female business owners and managers Thursday at The Peninsula Club. The theme for the 2023 event is “Connecting the Dots” and features an outstanding lineup of regional talent.

This year marks the 10th year of the event which began as a program of the Chamber’s Diversity Council. It is presented by Atrium Health. Speakers include Dawne Kakitsis, Director of Fundraising & Marketing for Smithville Community Coalition, Briana Blair – a marketing professional and motivational speaker, Kimberly Coleman with The Fogle Insurance Group, and Keynote Speaker – Kerry Ann Tornesello, Founder of Engage Coaching LLC.

The event runs from 8:15 am to 3 pm.

Background

Laura Rizzetta, executive vice president of the chamber, said the committee worked hard to “assemble a diverse array of talented speakers who could speak to all the balls female business owners, managers, and employees juggle each day between their personal and professional lives.”

“We wanted to address professional careers, personal well-being, families, faith and connecting all of those dots,” she said.

Tickets

There is still limited seating available for the conference but online registration is closing and anyone who has not previously registered should call the chamber directly at 704-892-1922.

The $75 fee includes the program, a hosted bar, lunch, snacks and swag bags.
