James Joseph Harnett, 83 of Mooresville passed away peacefully on September 4, 2015 at Levine and Dickson Hospice House. He was born on January 4, 1932 in Queens, NY to the late Timothy and Mary Harnett.
He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Harnett.
Survivors include his son, Jimmy; and daughters, Laura Hogan and husband Bob and Mary Lis and husband Shane; grandchildren, Sean, Kristen, Bobby, Shannon, Danny, Maggie, Patrick and Brennan.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Carillon of Mooresville and Levine and Dickson Hospice House for their kindness and care.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation, 322 8th Ave 7th Flr, NY, NY 10001.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Saturday, September 5 at St. Mark Catholic Church. The funeral mass will be held at 2:00 Saturday at St. Mark Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Northlake Memorial Gardens.
