DUNCAN

Jackie Ann Poole Duncan, 71, of Cornelius, NC passed away peacefully on Friday May 15, 2015 at her home.  Jackie was born April 10, 1944 in Wilson, NC to the late Odell and Lillian Edwards Poole.

She was a self-employed hairdresser in Cornelius for many years. Jackie was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed directing the plays and cooking for the Youth group.  She was also a member of the Charlotte Area Shaggers Hall of Fame.  Jackie enjoyed playing golf, scrabble and feeding her neighbors, but her true love was being a wife, mother and grandmother.

Jackie leaves to cherish her memory, her loving family; husband, Don E. Duncan; son, Keith Duncan and his wife Shannon of Huntersville; granddaughters, Karley and Addison; and sister, Jean Adams.  Along with her parents, Jackie was preceded in death by her son, Marc in 1987 and her sister, Marie Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Monday May 18, 2015 at 11:00 am at Bethel Presbyterian Church, Cornelius, NC with Rev. Dr. Bill Cain officiating.   A reception will follow at the church.
