Sept. 28. By Ryan Moxon. Hough outgunned West Meck on Friday night by a score of 43-0 to remain undefeated.
The Huskies, ranked by the Charlotte Observer as the top team in the 8A division, started slow on a wet, rainy night at home. The Hough defense scored first with a safety and special teams added a touchdown at the end of the first quarter and the team never looked back. Hough junior quarterback Ethan Royal added two passing touchdowns in the second quarter to take a 23 point halftime lead.
Hough tallied three more touchdowns through the air in the second half to move to 6-0 on the season.
The Huskies have a bye week and prepare to travel to Garinger for an away game on Oct. 10. The team then hosts South Meck at home, plays at Myers Park and concludes the regular season at home against Hopewell.
