Hinnant, Swain have key roles among metro mayors

Nov. 6 Kannapolis Mayor Darrell Hinnant and Huntersville Mayor Jill Swain have has been elected to top positions on the N.C. Metropolitan Mayors Coalition. Swain is the new chairwoman, while Hinnant joins the executive committee.  The bipartisan group represents the mayors of the state’s larger cities. Concord Mayor Scott Padgett is also a member of the executive committee.
