Oct. 2. Michael Dickerson, director of the Mecklenburg Board of Elections, will discuss security, the board’s pre-election accuracy protocols, and how vote integrity is maintained in a talk at Davidson Town Hall at 1 p.m. Wednesday Oct 9.
Dickerson, who has led the elections board for more than 25 years, will also discuss the need for a photo ID to vote in this fall’s elections, and detail how counted ballots get from the precinct to election headquarters.
