Giving Tree Village will light up Davidson’s 12 Days of Christmas

Oct. 15. Because of  ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, specifically those limiting outdoor gatherings, Christmas in Davidson will look a lot different for 2020.

Details are being worked out for this year’s 12 Days of Christmas, which will run December 1-12 during normal business hours.

The Rotary Club of Davidson’s Giving Tree Village will light up the Davidson Town Green,  continuing the Rotary Club of Davidson’s fundraising tradition for non-profits.

The Town of Davidson will still have strolling carolers, Santa driving through town and Davidson businesses will be festive for the 12 Days of Christmas theme.

There won’t be any vendor tents or carriage rides, and the street won’t be blocked off.

Christmas in Davidson is traditionally held the first Thursday, Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving with attendance estimated at 25,000.

A tree sponsorship is $250. Sponsors select a non-profit of their choice to support.

Rotary Club of Davidson suggests choosing a local charity/non-profit.
