Film festival in Statesville will screen 46 independent films

Full Bloom Film Festival

July 1. The Full Bloom Film Festival (FBFF) has announced its official film selections for 2025, its 10th anniversary. A total of 46 films from 17 countries have been selected to screen during the festival, which will take place Sept. 11–13, in historic downtown Statesville.

“This year’s lineup represents some of the most powerful and captivating films we’ve ever had. I’m incredibly proud of how this festival has grown, especially in our ability to attract such outstanding independent work. These films will challenge, entertain, and inspire our community,” said Brandon Sproul, a festival committee member.

Over the course of three days, each of the 46 selected films will be showcased.

This year’s selections span narrative and documentary features, shorts and animation from around the world including United Kingdom, Belgium, Turkey, Spain, France, Chile, Iran, Poland, Nepal, the Netherlands, Australia, the Russian Federation, and more.
