This is a Lake Norman tradition! The familyfriendly fun run starts Thanksgiving morning at 20420 W. Catawba .

Holiday Light Show

The annually awesome Holiday Light Spectacular features 150,000 lights set to music. A community favorite you won’t want to miss! North Main Street, Mooresville.

Victorian Christmas

Experience early holiday traditions including open hearth cooking, horse-drawn wagon rides, mulled wine, ornate decorations, a live reading of the Night Before Christmas, Victorian era outdoor games, blacksmithing, Victorian carolers and more! Latta Plantation, 10am.

 

Saturday Nov. 30

8th Annual Light Up Cornelius

Annual tree lighting on the lawn of Cornelius Town Hall. Attendees can enjoy community group performances, children’s activities, carriage rides, train display, a variety of concessions, and a visit from Santa! 4pm-7pm.

Americarna Live!

Ray Evernham’s 7th annual AmeriCarna LIVE car show will be held Saturday, Nov.  30 (rain date is 12/1). The show will again be open to all cars. Ingersoll Rand, Davidson.

Christmas at the movies

Dec. 1, 8 and 22.  Christmas at the Movies through the classic movies of It’s a Wonderful Life, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and A Christmas Story. Mt. Zion UMC.

Christmas in Cornelius

Christmas in Cornelius is coming to town! Join us and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of live bands, Christmas carols and choirs, food trucks, craft breweries, holiday kids activities and even a visit from Santa himself!

Lake Norman Orchestra Concert & Dinner

Join Maestro Eduardo Cedeño as he ushers in the holiday season with the Lake Norman Orchestra! We have special surprises planned. Langtree Plantation. 4:30pm – 8:30pm.

 

Monday Dec. 2

Connecting Cornelius

The new Board of Commissioners will share their plans and priorities for the next two years, followed by an open Q&A session to answer your questions. Harvey’s Cornelius, 8:30am-9:30am.

Santa’s Mailbox

Drop a letter off at the Cornelius Arts Center’s mailbox to the North Pole and Santa will respond! All letters must include a self-addressed and stamped envelope in order to receive a response. Runs Dec. 2 – Dec. 13.

Pokemon League

Starts at 5:30-7:00. Entry $5.00. Every person receives a pack for participating. Play, Trade, Enjoy.
