Get ready for Big Day at the Lake! More than 600 “bigs” and “littles” from Big Brothers Big Sisters will embark with a bevy of Boat Hosts for a day of lake fun Saturday. The 2018 Disc Golf Amateur World Championships will have practice sessions and tournament matches at both Bailey Road Park and Robbins Park next week. Disc golf courses there will be closed to the public July 21-28. Be sure to round up your gently used goods for donation to the Ada Jenkins Center benefit yard sale scheduled for Aug. 4. Donations will be accepted at the center through July 23.
