Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Opening Night Fundraiser
You are invited to an opening night showing of “Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker,” at Our Town Cinemas in Davidson. Proceeds benefit the IGNITE Program for individuals with high-functioning autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. Movie begins at 7pm.
Winter Camp at Carolina Raptor Center
Carolina Raptor Center is looking for enthusiastic kids to come and spend the whole day with some amazing birds of prey this winter. Registration is open for three different winter day camps – pick one or all three.

A Classic Christmas In Mooresville
A Classic Christmas in Mooresville will bring you Santa visits, horse-drawn wagon rides, a life-size snow globe, Victorian carolers, ice skating, petting zoo, shopping and dining, hot cocoa, popcorn, cotton candy, s’mores, crafts and more. Friday 6pm-8pm, Downtown Mooresville (Week 2).

Lake Normans Largest Christmas Boat Parade
All ages invited to come celebrate the season on the lake and take in the amazing light show. Nothing says Christmas on Lake Norman more than a fleet of decorated vessels full of toys and neighbors looking to give back. There are three key spots to watch the event each year with the big finale at the Duke Energy Explorium in Huntersville. Starts at 5:30pm.

Take pictures with Santa and also enjoy the parade of boats with holiday lights passing by the Energy Explorium cove. Food trucks will be available. 5pm-7pm.
Family Storytime with Special Guest
Bring your whole family to the Cornelius Library to enjoy a theatrical reading of the children’s classic “The Night Before Christmas,” with special guest reader Santa Claus. There will be opportunities for attendees to take photographs at the end of the program.
Everyone is invited to a one- to two-hour hike; tromping through the woods and fields of Lake Norman State Park. Swimming Area Parking lot in Troutman at 10am.
