Cornelius Today is forming an Editorial Advisory Board to help guide coverage and gather a deeper knowledge of our community.

The locally owned news organization will look for members who represent the diversity of our town; no prior experience is necessary, nor is a background in journalism. “This is about content, diversity, different points of view and gathering stories about the people that make our town a good place to live,” said the editor of Cornelius Today, Dave Yochum.

Ordinary citizens are welcome as well as business owners, educators, seniors, First Responders and non-profit workers. From time to time we will survey board members’ opinions.

The board will be informal, and meet twice a year. The group will meet over breakfast or lunch at a local restaurant, based on a group decision.
