June 13. Enjoy dining out on Tuesday, June 14 at Sabi Asian Bistro at 130 Harbour Place Dr. in Davidson and a portion of your order will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Carolinas Central Carolinas.

The event is organized by Big Day at the Lake, an 18-year tradition on Lake Norman.

Big Day at the Lake has three goals: Provide a full day of fun on the lake for at-risk kids in BBBBSCC, recruit Bigs (mentors) and raise money for a worthy organization.

Big Day at the Lake will be held on July 16 this year. Thanks to Boat Hosts, the event brings people together with a fun, all-day lake experience for at-risk children. (Boat Hosts and their families say it’s awesome, too.)

So far this year, more than $122,000 has been raised for BBBSCC. The picnic at Duke’s Energy Explorium is back this year as well.
