E2D laptop sale Saturday in Cornelius
Dec. 27. Eliminate the Digital Divide will hold a surplus sale fundraiser this Saturday at 18605 Northline Drive in Cornelius. E2D will be selling different types of refurbished laptops, mainly Lenovo and HP, at bargain prices to raise money that will go back into providing refurbished computers and labs for students whose digital literacy is at risk because of economic circumstances.
“This is similar to a yard sale. People can show up and buy the laptops,” said Ashley Robbins of E2D. The price range is $50 to $400. The mission of E2D is to ensure that all students have affordable access to essential at-home technology and digital literacy training to support academic success and prepare students for college and careers.
