Dion Patrick Vaughn, 46, of Cornelius, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015, at his home. Dion was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL, spent many years in Baltimore, and ultimately moved to the Lake Norman area in 2002. Dion had a passion for flying and boating.

He is survived by his wife Stephanie, his sons Patrick and Dillon, and his daughters Sara and Carly; his brother Kenny and nephew Brandon, his sister Sue and neice Sydney, his sister Stacy, his mother Jane, stepmother Freda and stepsister Theresa. Dion is predeceased by his father Carlos and his half-brother Eddie.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd at 3pm at Grace Covenant Church in Cornelius located 17301 Statesville Rd, Cornelius, NC 28031.  The family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted at any Wells Fargo Bank to the Dion Vaughn Memorial Fund (mention Stephanie Vaughn, Cornelius). Contributions will be gifted to a charity close to Dion’s heart.
