April 5. All Town of Davidson offices, including the Town Hall and the Community Center at 251 South St., will close April 7 in observance of Good Friday. The Public Safety building at 216 South Main remains closed to the public during its renovation.

Garbage and recycling pick up will remain on a regular pick-up schedule.

Most Mecklenburg County offices and services will be closed Friday as well.

Closed locations will include all units of:

—Department of Social Services
—Public Health
—Tax Office
—Elections Office
—Register of Deeds Office
—Land Use and Environmental Services Agency Offices

Mecklenburg County Solid Waste Centers will be open Friday and Saturday.
