DavidsonGreen

A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Feb. 29 for the new geodesic dome at Davidson Green School.

March 2.  The new EcoDome at Davidson Green School houses an 1,100-gallon aquaponics system.

Located on three acres in Davidson, the school is in its third year of preparing the next generation of leaders and citizens by promoting sustainability, science, engineering, entrepreneurism and economics, and community.

Students spend a large portion of school time outdoors and have the opportunity to explore and connect with nature while hiking on the trails, investigating the creek, or working within the EcoDome.

Beyond academics, Davidson Green School fosters the skills to be an independent, creative, and responsible thinker, to care for the school, community and planet.  Students are taught to be problem solvers with ingenuity and vision and to promote a green future and a green economy.
