Numerous Cornelius residents are featured in this year’s Home Grown and Home Grown, Jr. mixed-media exhibit at the Cain Center for the Arts.
The annual Home Grown exhibit was launched by the town’s parks and recreation department in 2013, when the town’s arts efforts were housed at the Cornelius Arts Center. Cain assumed responsibility for the exhibit when it opened five years ago and added a component for young, budding artists with Home Grown, Jr.
On view through May 9, the showcase features a mix of two-dimensional and three-dimensional artwork from artists of all experience levels. The gallery is open and free to the public during the Cain Center’s hours of operation, Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
