The Charlotte Rescue Mission, a free 120-day residential program for people who are addicted to drugs and/or alcohol, is looking for 2,000 frozen turkeys in time for Thanksgiving. Each year the Charlotte Rescue Mission works with the community to feed those who will eat at the Mission on Thanksgiving Day as well as provide Thanksgiving boxes with all of the traditional fixings. The turkeys can be dropped off starting Monday, Nov. 6, seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 907 W. 1st Street in Charlotte,Turkeys should be between 12 and 15 pounds and frozen.
