Charlotte Rescue Mission needs 2,000 turkeys

​The ​Charlotte Rescue Mission​, ​a free 120-day residential program for ​people who are addicted to drugs and/or alcohol​, is looking for 2,000 frozen turkeys in time for Thanksgiving. Each year the Charlotte Rescue Mission works with the community to ​feed those who will eat at the Mission on Thanksgiving Day as well as provide Thanksgiving boxes with all of the traditional fixings. ​The turkeys can be dropped off starting Monday, Nov. 6, seven days a week from 8​ ​a.m. to 6​ ​p.m.​ at​ 907 W. 1st Street​ in ​Charlotte,​Turkeys should be between 12 and 15 pounds and frozen.
