Charlitta Hatch elected to CMS board

Charlitta Hatch, Chief Data and Analytics Officer & Deputy Director of Innovation and Technology for the city of Charlotte, will be taking over as the Charlotte Mecklenburg School Board District 1 Member, which represents Cornelius. Hatch defeated incumbent Melissa Easley and challenger Bill Fountain by a comfortable margin during Tuesday’s election.
Hatch, a CMS graduate, says she has an extensive list of priorities to address and looks forward to the challenge. Among the top ones are streamlining workloads and offering more competitive pay for teachers.
