Carolina Comfort Coalition’s Serenity House awarded a $5,000 grant to complete kitchen

Nov. 25 Carolina Comfort Coalition’s Serenity House of Huntersville received a $5,000 Lowe’s Community Partners grant for kitchen renovations. The Serenity House will use the grant to install new appliances, update cabinetry and fix wall coverings. Individuals, businesses and civic groups completed renovations throughout the house earlier in the year. The kitchen was the last room that needed attention. The Lowe’s Community Partners grant program is focused on improving local communities by assisting nonprofits and municipalities with high-need project.
