Boos & Brews is looking for writers

It’s time for 7th Annual Boos & Brews

Aug. 16. Are you a writer, frustrated or otherwise? Davidson Community Players‘ seventh annual “Boos and Brews” festival is all about horror-ific short plays conceived for a small stage.

If you’ve got zombies in your oeuvre—or scary stories with pumpkin ale—this is the right place to tell your most ridiculously macabre story as quickly as you can.

Details

1. Your play is to be approximately 10 minutes in length.

2. The theme is to be Halloween/Autumn (comedy or drama).

3. The play should contain no more than five characters.

4. The set is to be minimalistic, i.e. no refrigerators or heavy objects.

5. Limited set, costumes and props.
