Betty Morgan Garmon, 84 of Concord died on April 2, 2015. She was born in Cabarrus County on March 14, 1931 to the late Oscar and Viola Morgan. Betty was a lifelong member of Forest Hill U.M.C. and spent her later years working for the Board of Elections.

Survivors include her husband Lloyd Garmon; daughters, Elizabeth Brown (Tony) of Concord, Barbara Stoudenmire of Concord, Della Haigler (Mitchell) of Midland and Margaret Brewer (Chris) of Huntersville; sister-in-lawn, Mary Jane Morgan; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 6 at Forest Hill U.M.C. in Concord. Inurnment will follow in the church colobarium. The family will receive friends after services in the Family Life Center.
