Arnie the Armadillo’s Summer Story Time Tour

Enjoy a free children’s story time featuring a beloved armadillo character, author interaction, book signings and special offers on signed copies. Free but registration appreciated.

Lake Norman Poker Run
Holiday Marina
10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Cruise the lake, collect cards at designated checkpoints, compete for prizes and enjoy a day of boating, friendly competition and community. Free but registration required.

Ninachella
Nina’s Boutique – Antiquity

Enjoy a California desert-inspired celebration with live music, themed photo ops, an elevated taco bar, snow cones, prickly pear margaritas, a custom hat bar and local artisans. Free to attend.

Jam for Jack – Preserve the Conard Collection
Old Town Event Center
4-9 p.m.

Enjoy a free community concert honoring our local historian’s legacy through music, fellowship and remembrance while supporting preservation of a treasured historical collection.

Paint & Paws
The Bar at Groomed
4-9 p.m.

Create pet-inspired artwork with Cara Bailey Studios while supporting Country Acres Rescue, with painting supplies, a mimosa, adoptable pups and the chance to help shelter pets. Tickets cost $40.
