Bailey Road Closure on Thursday
The eastbound lane of Bailey Road between Statesville Road and Washam Potts Road will be closed Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for road repairs.
Wednesday is the final day of classes for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, meaning weekday traffic is expected to be lighter than usual.
Drivers will not be able to travel eastbound on Bailey Road and should use alternate routes, including Westmoreland Road to Washam Potts Road or Sam Furr Road to Old Statesville Road.
The westbound travel lane on Bailey Road will remain open at the work site, but minor delays are possible.
