July 22. The Cain Center for the Arts is accepting applications for its 2022-2023 Community Music Program.

Begun in 2020, this program offers local Lake Norman students ages 7-18 the opportunity to take private one-on-one lessons in voice, guitar or piano at no cost.

The classes are taught by local music school, Learn Music.  The students commit to a full academic year of lessons, two public performances, and regular attendance.  Once achieved, the student will receive a free instrument at the end of the year.

Registration for the Community Music Program is open through Aug. 15 Approved students must follow a code of conduct and commit to practicing five  days a week in order to participate. The program runs Sept. 1 – May 31, 2023.
