The Tawba Walk Arts & Music Festival returns to Old Town Cornelius on Saturday, Sept. 26, from 2 to 8 p.m., with two stages of live music, more than 100 local artists and vendors, and a new layout centered on Cornelius Town Hall and Cain Park.

The shift in venue comes as renovations continue at Oak Street Mill, which has hosted the festival in past years. Organizers from Old Town Cornelius Inc. said the fall event will bring the festival’s energy to a new corner of downtown while keeping its focus on local art, food and music.

Admission is free.

Town Hall Stage:

2 p.m. — Evenflow
3 p.m. — High Maintenance
4 p.m. — Dirty Blonde
5 p.m. — The Throwbacks
6-8 p.m. — The Uptown Delta

Cain Park Stage:

2-2:45 p.m. — The Rolling Cones
2:45-3:30 p.m. — Short Fuse
3:30-4:15 p.m. — No Curfew
4:15-5 p.m. — Kaboom
5-8 p.m. — The Long Drive Home

Other festival offerings

Beyond the music, the festival will include more than 100 local artists, craftsmen and small businesses; local craft beer and wine; multiple food truck courts and sweet treat vendors; and family activities including a build-your-own slime station, gem mining, the return of the Ultimate Bungee Trampoline, DJ Festivus, and additional games and giveaways.

Parking will be available on-street throughout downtown Cornelius, as well as in nearby lots including Cornelius Elementary, the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library and a town-owned lot in front of Food Lion. Parking is not permitted at Food Lion or Walgreens. Leashed pets are welcome.
