By Ryan Moxon — Hough overcame early penalties and a slow start on offense to post a 49-10 win over Mooresville on Friday night.

The Huskies opened the scoring with an interception and a 21-yard touchdown by defensive back Sincere Day.

Mooresville added a touchdown and a field goal in the first quarter to take a 10-7 lead, but Hough responded with 21 points in the second quarter. The scoring was highlighted by Jamarion Morrison’s 69-yard rushing touchdown, followed by his 73-yard touchdown reception.

Huskies wide receiver Jahmere Anderson added a 41-yard touchdown reception before halftime.

Huskies quarterback Ethan Royal tacked on passing touchdowns to Josh Autry and Christian Baker, and scored a rushing touchdown over the final two quarters.

Hough, 4-0, will host Green Run (Va.) next Friday night.
