New 24/7 Golf Sim Opening in Cornelius

Another Nine is bringing a new 24/7 indoor golf experience to Cornelius, offering private, self-service simulator suites designed for around-the-clock play.
The facility opens on Friday at 20700 North Main Street and allows golfers to book individual hitting bays and play a variety of virtual courses.
Players can book hourly solo sessions ranging from one to four hours for $35 per hour. Membership options also are available for frequent users — $200 for a Pro membership that provides nine hours a month of play, or $250 for a weekday unlimited membership.
Simulators include kids games
Each of the six suites features Trackman simulator technology that provides detailed swing data and the ability to play virtual rounds on more than 100 courses around the world, including Quail Hollow, Bethpage Black, Oakmont and Pinehurst No. 2.
The Cornelius location does not serve food or drinks, but mini refrigerators are provided for customers who want to bring their own beverages.
Rental clubs are available for adults and children, and the simulators include games geared toward young golfers.
The location is part of a larger franchise expansion in the Charlotte area. The original site is in Cincinnati and has grown to seven locations nationwide.
The Cornelius location is owned by Matt Hess, who lives in Denver and works in finance for Compass Group. It is the first of five locations he plans to open in the Charlotte area.
“I have young kids, and I come home from work, feed them and put them to bed, but I would love to have a place to hit balls at night,” he said. “This provides an opportunity around the clock to come in and hit balls and work on your game.”
Customers also can book private lessons and club fittings with certified teaching professional Chris Kruger.
Another Nine is part of a growing trend of automated indoor golf facilities that reduce staffing costs while expanding access to premium golf technology.
The Grand Opening is this Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and features a ribbon cutting and the opportunity to experience the golf suites, including long drive and closest to the pin contests.
