Learn several different line dances in a variety of styles, including Country Western, World, Island, Top 40, Hip Hop, Reggae, Ballroom, Latin and more! Stay after class for a practice session to try out your new moves. $20 per person.

Saturday

Hours vary by day

First day of summer operations for the popular quarry swimming hole. Cost is $25-$40 per person depending on the date and time of the visit. Reservations are recommended.

Suddenly in Command
Blythe Landing
9:30-11:30 a.m.

The U.S. Coast Guard offers a boating safety primer designed for those not generally at the helm, and will help you to be prepared with the basics in case of an emergency. Free but registration required.

Dragon Boat Festival
Ramsey Creek Park
10:45 a.m.-5 p.m.

An annual tradition includes opening ceremonies, boat races, demonstrations and more. Free.

Mega Rosé
Foxcroft Food & Wine
noon-3 p.m.

Tasting experience featuring 40 rosés poured at indoor and outdoor stations. A light buffet accompanies the wines, and all attendees receive 25% off any bottles purchased during the event. $40 per person in advance or $45 at the door.

Sunday

Legends Block Party
Primal Brewing
noon-8 p.m.

Learn Music is providing a full-day celebration of live music, community, and student artistry. Free to attend.

Coolest Dog Contest
Lost Worlds Brewing
2-5 p.m.

Submit a photo and begin voting. The Kiwanis Club of Lake Norman has partnered with Lost Worlds Brewing to feature the top voting dogs on approximately 1,000 of their blonde ale beer cans. $10 to enter.
